Last week, I received my county tax assessment. I was a little shocked at how much the assessed value of my home had gone up. I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that I’m here if you have any questions about your county tax assessment.
If you think your county assessment is too high, you may want to appeal it. Appealing is simple; all we have to do is show comparable properties to support that your home value is less than the assessed value.
Keep in mind, though, that the market has gone up. In my case, the county tax assessor correctly determined the value of my home, so I cannot appeal. Still, you might be able to.
Give me a call and we can run some numbers to try and save you a little money. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I would be happy to help you!
